Interior painting ranges from a single-room refresh to a full-home repaint following a major renovation. The scope varies, but the prep process is consistent.
Before paint goes on, we address:
- Wall and ceiling prep: filling holes, patching damaged areas, sanding where needed
- Trim, baseboard, and casing: painted or protected depending on scope
- Primer application for color changes or newly installed drywall
- Door and window detail work
Interior painting frequently pairs with other work. A completed kitchen renovation needs paint. A finished basement needs paint. Newly installed trim and doors need paint. Coordinating painting with the surrounding work under one contractor is more efficient and avoids the scheduling gaps that come with a separate painter arriving after other trades have wrapped up.
We also handle interior painting as a standalone project when a refresh is all that's needed.
Exterior Painting
Exterior painting involves more surfaces and a longer prep list than interior work. Failing exterior paint almost always traces back to inadequate preparation rather than the paint itself.

Caulking and exterior painting work together. If caulking is failing, paint over it will fail too. We address caulking as part of getting the surface ready rather than painting over a problem.
Primer goes on where conditions call for it. We don't skip it on surfaces that need it.

Our Process: Simple, Straightforward, Stress-Free
For interior projects, we work through the space room by room or in a planned sequence so the rest of the house stays usable during the project. Furniture protection and floor covering are standard practice. We clean up at the end of each day rather than leaving a job site that needs to be navigated around for a week.
For exterior projects, we stage the work so different elevations progress in sequence and access to entries is maintained. Weather is a factor on exterior jobs, and we plan around it rather than painting in conditions that will affect adhesion.
